Overview

Sentries for the Sentient is a nonprofit organization based in the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino, California. We are dedicated to supporting animal rescues by providing a suite of services designed to ease their burdens and improve animal welfare outcomes. Our core activities include coordination of rescues, veterinary visits, spay/neuter scheduling, medical boarding, animal training, adoption events, pet parties, and educational outreach. Our focus is on serving animal rescue organizations, shelters, veterinarians, and the broader community through hands-on support and awareness-raising events. By doing the operational work for rescues, we enable them to focus on direct animal care and adoption efforts. Our goal is to create a more effective, community-oriented animal welfare ecosystem in Southern California.
